Hewlett-Packard announced a new low-priced mini-notebook PC aimed at students and business people on the go. The 2133 Mini-Note is a smaller-than-ultraportable laptop that trades high-powered specs for portability and price.
HP 2133 Mini-Note has a brushed aluminium body, an 8.9-inch, 1280 x 768 screen with a scratch-resistant overlay and a very good QWERTY keyboard that manages to be 92% the size of a full-size keyboard. It will also feature a 1.2 GHz VIA C7 processor, 802.11 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
The 2133 Mini-Note ran for 1 hour and 31 minutes on our video battery drain test, using the included three-cell battery. That battery sits flush with the system, but the high-end configuration also comes with a six-cell battery.
The HP 2133 Mini-Note PC Price starts at $ 499 for the most basic version and goes as high as $ 849. and weighs only 2.7 pounds
